Has anyone every seen a leather top dining room table?
like leather (vinyl) upholstered over the top of a dining room table? how would that look. there would be no padding or batting. pics if possible.
I have only seen one dining table with a leather top and this was a very old antique table sort of long and narrow like you would imagine Robin Hood sitting at. It was also studded with gold coloured tacks all around. I would not recommend you using vinyl, leather will be more dureable depending on what you spill on it.

Maybe try a top that is that a little stretchy, so it does not look very wide, but not not break. Same thing with blouses looking for those little stretch, if you wear them, rather than stubborn hard substances.

Just the other day I was driving by the mall, nostalgic hang this fall-out-at-the-mall shopping days. You know. The big Saturday trip to all your favorite stores, bags of sweaters and new jeans and maybe a funky T-shirt or two, a stop by the food court with her mother for a piece of pizza. Those were the days, right? (Anyone with me?)
Well, I do not know the rest of you, but then (and Papas deep pockets) for me are gone, and a brand-new fall wardrobe each Year is no longer an option. Fortunately, there are some simple ways to take some of your favorite summer to autumn, and a few tricks for making old pieces seem new. Read on!

We all know how nice it is to throw on a fluttery dress and a couple of ballerinas and head for a Walk or bike ride on a warm summer day. But, no need to pack up the clothes before the snow melts. Take your favorite summer dress and throw it on a pair of jeans. Just make sure your jeans are nice and tight and your dress is knee length or shorter. Also avoid wearing clothes that are either in the formal Style or substance. Jersey knit and cotton clothes work best on.
Throw on a turtleneck or other long-sleeved shirt under the dress, or a long sweater on (Or both!) And complete the look with a wide belt, a must for fall, which adds to your summer staple look and feel new.
Longer dresses and you may fall. Pair it with a kitten heel slingback, ballerina flat or even stylish, high-heeled boots.
A Leg Up
No need to kiss your mini-skirts (especially denim) to adopt. Instead, they put on a pair of dark leggings or tights, your favorite sweater and a colorful coat that you wear through the bleak winter. Let the look with a flat boot, ballet shoes or pointy-toed flat.
Or put on your favorite shorts or cotton capris with a pair of textured tights.
With a shirt and jacket collar well equipped at the beginning, you have the perfect outfit for fall work or play.
And if the right pair of leggings is hard to get, cut the feet of old pantyhose and wear them as leggings. Cut them out, they take about an inch below the knee. It is a perfect way to save some money while cashing in on items you already have.
Layering it on
Layering your shirts is one of the best tricks you have up its sleeve. It helps you more mileage from the piece in your closet and helps mix any outfit.

And movement, the chunky belt from your hips low-lying to the chest can totally change the way looks like an ensemble.
