Can I have a dress from David’s Bridal altered from a woman to a missy size?
Apparently the dress I want now only comes in “Woman” sizes. I’m very busty but I don’t wear plus sizes. Can I buy the smallest “Woman” size and tailor it down to fit me?
Just for reference: I would buy a “Missy” size 10 and still have to have it tailored a bit through the waist. A “Woman” 14 is even bigger than a regular 14.
I don’t think that’s possible, not down to size 10. It’s too much to remove and the cutting lines would be all wrong – it would be easier to make the dress right from scratch.
Women 14 to Missy 10 is actually more than three sizes – Women’s dresses are cut to give more room in the abdominal and thigh area, not the bust area.
I am a bit bustier then most women so I need a plus size costume. I want to be sexy. The problem is that I am in a wheelchair and most of the sexy plus size costumes are a little too short for my liking. Can anyone help me find a costume that sexy, fits, and isn’t too short?
If you were just looking for some good ideas, I’d say find a way to incorporate your wheels into the costume, like R2D2, or that female robot from WALL-E.
But you asked for sexy, so you’re going to have to be creative, like maybe the hot lady scientist that is always sliding between her desk and workbench on a wheeled chair, or a female mechanic using the chair to slide between one space or another.
Essentially, to look “sexy” you pick a body part or two you want to flaunt, and give it as much exposure as possible without getting arrested. If that’s your goal, it should be pretty easy.

On fredericks.com some articles etc. are only as 32,34,36,38, My girlfriends bra size is 38C. Her waist is 34 and the hips are 42nd would want a medium, large, plus his size?, she is not fat just kinda high. I think she's about 5 feet 11 inches ….. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dont be surprised if it carries a smaller on the bottom and a larger at the top …….. or vice versa. If none of it makes sense to you, there is a 800 customer service line in This section also. It would be best to help you. Do not be shy to call her …. its what they do …. to spoil work with men who are making their women. It is a great learning experience.
