How to Make a "raised" ponytail?

by "applicable" I look mean, like in a loose ponytail, and press You give it to the front and the front a poofy. I have long hair is just at my bra strap. its thick and heavy. a ponytail holder, it holds just fine but any attempt to pin the ponytail into force is hopeless. pulls my hair so thick and hard it ponytail right back down. What is a dry curl? I have a big Afro would be a dry or curl Texturizer work better one?

How do I get a DRY CURL. What Product I use to get them. WHERE I WANT IT LIKE Sraight once or twice a year, so I was a wavy or A DRY Texturizer. But I have a AFRO if I just BLOW IT TO MY BRA's belt.
