What is a dry curl? I have a big Afro would be a dry or curl Texturizer work better one?

How do I get a DRY CURL. What Product I use to get them. WHERE I WANT IT LIKE Sraight once or twice a year, so I was a wavy or A DRY Texturizer. But I have a AFRO if I just BLOW IT TO MY BRA's belt.
