Bra size calculators have me confused. Help!?

Many of the online 'bra size calculator "Tell me I'm a 36A. I know this is very wrong, as I currently am a 34C and bulging over the top of the cup. I went on an M & S bra size chart and she said I was a 36D. On another I was 36B. On another I was 32E. A UK size 10-12 clothes are unlikely band around a size 36, apparently 31.5 is me.
